Use the dropdown menu and choose IMAGE - Resize - Image Size to get started
1. Turn on RESAMPLE
In order to "SHRINK" an image, you must turn on "RESAMPLE" at the bottom of the dialogue.
This will open up the "Pixel Dimensions at the top
2. Adjust the WIDTH or HEIGHT
Type in a WIDTH and you'll find the Height will adjust automatically. DON'T PANIC - this is normal, and will ensure that your image stays in proper proportion.
Click OKAY and the pixel dimensions (resolution) of your image has now been resized
